Product Introduction
A Nigerian client specializing in fine sand products required a system to efficiently recover, dewater, dry, and screen washed fine sand, followed by conveying it via a lift to a storage hopper for final quantitative packaging using a valve-bag packer. Given the local water scarcity, we designed an integrated sand washing and recovery system combining a wheel-type sand washer, a fine sand recovery unit, and a dewatering screen. The system utilizes a closed-loop water process: wash water passes through a cyclone to extract fine sand before entering a settling tank for recycling, requiring only 10%–15% of the make-up water used in traditional processes. Meanwhile, the fine sand recovery rate exceeds 90%, significantly reducing resource waste. The recovered, dewatered wet sand enters a specialized dryer where hot air temperature and residence time are precisely controlled based on particle size and initial moisture content, ensuring uniform, stable output moisture that meets storage and packaging standards. After being graded by a multi-layer vibrating screen, the dry sand is vertically conveyed by a bucket elevator into a large-capacity hopper equipped with a fully automatic valve-bag packer at the discharge point; this ensures precise metering and zero spillage, achieving continuous, automated production from wet sand to packaged finished product. Since commissioning, the equipment has operated reliably; the client has highly praised its water-saving performance, fine sand recovery rate, drying uniformity, and packaging efficiency, noting that the entire line effectively resolves practical issues such as high water consumption, fine sand loss, and disjointed drying and packaging processes.
